Our History

It was in the early 1900s when grandfather Nazzareno began his “trade”, lending his skills as a pork-butcher in the private homes of his home town, Preci, in the province of Perugia, a few kilometres from the famous Norcia. Father Sesto, a native of this land, in the wake of his father’s experience, began the trade with great passion and during the war, when he was just twenty years old, he moved with his family to Viterbo, where, in a small establishment in the historic centre, he began his adventure as a “norcino”.

After many sacrifices, the first satisfactions arrive, the marriage and the birth of the three daughters who, growing up, follow their father’s footsteps. The business grew until it became an important reality, very different from the one of the immediate post-war period; the volumes changed until it became industrial, but only one rule remained, strict and essential: the handicraft imprint.

Unfortunately, father Sesto passed away, leaving his daughters a great void, but also the passion for a company that continues the family tradition in the memory of its unforgettable founder. The passion and the care inherited from the experience of two generations is updated today by combining the love for tradition to the respect of the strictest European regulations.
